World Auto 2026: What to Remember Care Car Without Permit

The Mondial Auto 2026 has just closed in Paris, and this new edition has booked us some novelties on the side of the car without a license and light mobility.

Between the novelties presented by Aixam, the projects of Fiat, the arrival of new brands and the evolutions announced around the aid to the electric, the sector continues to move and especially to diversify.

New models, ever more equipment, new builders and future projects… the market continues to evolve and everyone seems wanting to offer its own vision light mobility.

We come back on what was needed from the World Care World 2026 and on the novelties we could find on our roads in the coming years.

Aixam : two novelties, two ways to change the car without a license

Aixam took advantage of the World Auto 2026 to present two novelties with distinct positions: theEasy GT, which brings a smaller touch to the Easy range, and the new City GTO electrical, which goes further in terms of comfort and equipment.

Easy GT: The sportsman arrives on the Easy range

With theEasy GT, , Aixam give a new face to its Easy range by putting primarily on the style.

Front and rear spoilers, black rims and matte steel dye reinforce its sports character. Inside, some keys Green Jade also appear, a small wink to theEcypse presented in 2025, which had done precisely this color one of the strong elements of his identity.

However, the EASY GT remains faithful to the positioning of the EASY range: the goal is not to make it a high-end model, but rather to propose a version to the look more affirmed and more dynamic, while maintaining the spirit of the range.

A way for Aixam to resume some codes already seen on Ecypse and find them today on the Easy.

City GTO : Aixam pass a new cap

With the new City GTO electrical, the change is especially seen on the side of the equipment.

On board, we discover in particular a wide panoramic screen, with a compatible multimedia screen with Apple Carplay and Android car wireless. Camera and Radar Record, Phone Refill by Induction, Six Top-speakers or heated seats complete the whole.

Outside, new rims, the light signature and scrolling flashing also provide a more worked presentation.

So many equipment that is closer together closer to the experience aboard that of a traditional car and show the evolution today the car without a license.

With these two novelties, Aixam finally proposes two approaches: more character with EASY GT and more equipment with the City GTO.

Electric: new aid planned for 2027

Other important news around electric mobility: new aids must appear from 2027.

As of January 1, a help that can go up to € 2,000 is planned for the purchase of a heavy electriccycle (L7E) quadricycle. These vehicles, which require a license, can in particular offer four places and exceed 45 km/h cars without traditional license.

On the side of cars without electrical license (L6E), help is also planned. Its amount still must be specified.

To benefit, a condition is already announced: the vehicle will have to be assembled within the European Economic Area.

A good news so for the electric, even if it will still be able to wait for all the details of the device and know exactly which models can enjoy it.

And this boost arrives precisely at a time when the supply of small electric vehicles begins to expand.

Fiat sees bigger with the multiprina

Already present on the car market without a license with the Topolino, , Fiat took advantage of the world of auto to unveil a very different concept: the Multiplina.

This time, we leave the two-seater format of the Topolino for a vehicle capable of welcoming up to four people, while maintaining compact dimensions thoughts for the city.

The multiplina belongs to the category of l7E heavy quadricycles. Unlike cars without license limited at 45 km/pm, a license is necessary to drive this type of vehicle. It could thus reach up 90 km/pm, allowing uses different from those of a traditional VSP.

Its design does not go unnoticed either. With its very square forms and its largely glazed interior, its name does think about the old Multipla.

The multiplina remains for the moment at the stage of concept, with an envisaged arrival on the horizon 2028. It will therefore be necessary to wait before seeing it on our roads.

After arriving in the car market without a license with the Topolino, , Fiat show that he wants go further in the world of small electric vehicles. The multiplina could be a first step towards a wider offer in the coming years.

A mark that we will continue to follow close VSP and light mobility.

New actors arrive on the market

If the manufacturers already installed continue to change their offer, the World Car has also discovered or to find even little known brands from the general public.

Kilow, LinkTour or IPOP each propose their vision small electric vehicle.

Kilow: the car plays the map of simplicity

Hard to miss The kilow car. With its voluntarily shifted look, this small French vehicle puts primarily on simplicity, with a light, practical and customizable model.

The car is available in later version without a license, limited to 45 km/pm, but also in version L7E with license, up to 80 km/pm. At the World Current, Kilow also presented various declensions to adapt its use to recreation as well as for professional needs.

LinkTour: a new name to remember

Another brand that arrives in this market: Linktour, with his alumi. With its closer design of a small city, it offers a quite different approach than Kilarow.

Alumi is available in lED version limited to 45 km/pm, but also in version Alumi elite l7e, with license, able to reach 90 km/pm. Still little known in France, LinkTour is therefore part of the new names to follow.

ipop: a new french coming

On the French side, ipop offers a small modular electric vehicle, available in open or closed configuration.

THEipop 45 offers two places and remains limited to 45 km/h, while theipop 90, accessible with license, four places and can reach 90 km/pm.

The project also has the particularity of being assembled in France, in Alsace, at Dangel. The first deliveries are announced for 2027.

A market that welcomes new faces

Kilow, linktour and IPOP offer three different approaches, but their arrival shows especially that the market for small electric vehicles attracts new brands.

What to remember from the world of auto 2026

This 2026 edition of the World Auto Confirms one thing: the world of the car without a license and light mobility continues to evolve.

Historical brands are changing their models with more style, comfort and equipment, while new names come with sometimes very different proposals. Evolutions that show especially that the offer diversifies, with vehicles thought for uses and more and more varied needs.

All the novelties presented will not necessarily be on our roads tomorrow. Some are still in the state of concept and others still have to prove themselves. But they already give a good overview of what could become of the market in the coming years.

New developments are therefore yet to come, and we will continue to follow them to keep you informed about the next novelties of the world of VSP and light mobility.
