The cradle and the Triangle are two fundamental elements of the suspension before a car-free car. They link between the chassis and the wheels, maintain the alignment, and guarantee a safe and comfortable pipe. Suspension pieces in good condition are essential for stability, handling and braking your vehicle. On Pro VSPWe offer a wide choice of cradles, triangles and associated parts, for complete and reliable maintenance.
The cradle is a metal piece attached under the vehicle body. It supports several major components: the engine, the gearbox, the steering rack and sometimes the stabilizer bar. It serves as an anchor for the suspension triangles and arms, ensuring a perfect geometry of rolling trains.
• Engine support and box : keeps the heavy organs of the vehicle.
• Fixing triangles : Allows precise pivoting for direction and suspension.
• Absorption of efforts : Dispels shocks related to the irregularities of the road.
• Maintenance of geometry : Guarantees a correct parallelism and regular tire wear.
• Visible deformation after a shock or accident.
• Important corrosion points or cracks.
• Difficulty setting parallelism.
• Metal noises or clicks in turns.
• Abnormal game on the anchor points of the triangles.
The Triangle suspension connects the cradle to the wheel via the hub and the rocket. It maintains the correct position of the wheel while allowing it to rise and go down to absorb the irregularities of the road. Triangles contain silent-blocks and sometimes integrated balls.
• Classing at the passage of bumps or by boating.
• Irregular tire wear.
• FLUO or IMPLECTED DIRECTION.
• Vehicle that pulls on one side.
• Game detected during technical control.
A triangle in poor condition compromises safety: loss of stability, risk of premature tire wear, increased braking distance, or risk of rupture during a big shock. Replace a tired triangle is therefore essential for driving safely.
The triangles and cribs are subject to significant mechanical stresses. Their inspection must be regular, especially during revisions or after a shock. Visual checking makes it possible to detect cracks, corrosion, silent-Cracks or games in the fasteners.
• When a silent-Block is torn off or too soft.
• After an accident that touched the front of the vehicle.
• If the cradle has perforating corrosion.
• If a noise of chat persists despite the replacement of the dampers.
• If the vehicle has a fault of geometry unable to correct.
• Always replace fasteners and safety screws if the manufacturer recommends it.
• Tighten the prescribed torque to avoid any game or deformation.
• Check the state of the ball joints, direction rods and shock absorbers at the same time.
• Perform parallelism after any triangle or cradle replacement.
On our shop you will find a full range of cribs and of triangles For all license marks without a license (Aixam, Ligier, Microcar, Chatenet, Bellier, JDM, Casalini, Grecav, Italcar). The proposed pieces respect the original standards and guarantee a good assembly.
In addition to the cradle and triangles, we propose Balls, hubs, suspension arms and shock absorbers. Find-in the category dedicated to Roller Train and Car Shock Absorber without a license to put all the axle before in a state.
Replace a cradle or triangle represents a cost, but it's an investment for your safety and that of your passengers. To reduce the overall invoice, group the replacements of wear parts (ball joints, rods, silent-blocks) during a single intervention. You will avoid paying several times your hand-and enjoy a front train completely refurbished.
• Perform a road test to check for noise.
• Check parallelism and geometry.
• Check the tightening torques after a few kilometers.
• Visually inspect the silent-blocks after a first week of use.
• Clean the bottom of the vehicle regularly to limit corrosion.
• Replace the silent-blocks from the first signs of wear.
• Avoid repeated shocks against sidewalks or obstacles.
• Make the geometry control once a year or after a significant shock.
• Use quality parts to prevent premature deformations.
