Quel est le rôle de votre serrure de hayon ?
La serrure de hayon, parfois appelée serrure de coffre, a pour rôle de maintenir parfaitement le coffre de votre voiture sans permis en position fermé. Généralement, elle se trouve sur l’ouvrant arrière et s’accroche à la gâche. Toujours constitué d’un mécanisme de verrouillage actionné mécaniquement par une poignée actionnant un câble ou électriquement sur les véhicules plus modernes. De plus en plus de voitures sont également équipées d’un système centralisé qui ouvre et ferme toutes les portes à distance grâce à un équipement électrique. Sur certains modèles haut de gamme, l’ouverture se fait grâce à une reconnaissance vocale ou biométrique.
Quand changer votre serrure de hayon ?
Comme toutes les serrures, la serrure de hayon (ou serrure de coffre) est une pièce importante pour votre sécurité. Son rôle consiste à assurer l’ouverture du coffre de votre voiture et d’empêcher les intrus d’y accéder. Elle permet ainsi de prévenir les risques de vol du véhicule ou de vos équipements. La plupart des serrures de hayon sont à bouton poussoir, il suffit d’y introduire la clef et de pousser pour ouvrir le coffre. Certaines voitures sont équipées d’un verrouillage centralisé manuel ou télécommandé.
Pourquoi changer votre serrure de hayon ?
Une serrure de hayon est défectueuse lorsqu’il est impossible d’ouvrir ou de fermer le coffre normalement, autrement dit lorsqu’elle oppose une certaine résistance ou ne permet pas l’ouverture et/ou la fermeture totale. Dans certains cas, il arrive que le panneau refuse de s’ouvrir. Dans ces cas-là, l’anomalie peut provenir de la serrure ou des éléments qui l’actionnent. Avant de remplacer votre serrure, pensez à bien vérifier l’origine de la défaillance.
