How do I charge your battery with starting cables?

There are different methods for charging a car battery.If your car doesn't start anymore, you can use starting cables.Just follow the following steps:

  • Find another car in working condition;
  • Position both vehicles in front of each other without touching each other;
  • Turn off the motor of the car whose battery works;
  • Open the hoods and locate the batteries;
  • Connect the start cables and let charge a few minutes.

Then you can start your car down.Enjoy-in order to drive it to a garage operator to check the condition of the battery and eventually make it change.

How to connect start cables?

Your battery is flat, you can't start anymore but you don't know how to plug the start cables?No panic, we explain to you in this tuto how not to plug cables to make sure to restart!

Equipment required:

  • Crocodile pins
  • Protection gloves

Step 1: Connect the various clamps

The red clamp connects to the positive (+) terminal of your battery.The black clamp it connects to the negative terminal (-) your battery.The other two ends of the cables should not touch, as you may create an overload and completely HS your battery.Do the same with the other car, red clamp on the + terminal and black clamp on the terminal -.

Step 2: Start the car that drives

Think of turning off everything that consumes electricity like lighthouses, music or air conditioning, to speed up the load.Then turn the key to put contact on the vehicle whose battery works.

Step 3: Let it load

Let charge about 5 minutes, then put the contact and try to start the car down.

Step 4: Disconnect cables

Let your engine run for a few minutes and then remove the cables.First, unplug the black clamp of the broken car, then that of the vehicle that has troubled.Then unplug the red clamp from the battery of the car, then the one from the vehicle that has troubled.

    ARTICLE 7 : DROIT DE RÉTRACTATION En vertu des dispositions des articles L.121-20 et suivants du Code de la consommation, le client dispose d'un délai de quatorze jours francs pour exercer son droit de rétractation sans avoir à justifier de motifs. Le client doit avant tout retour faire une demande de retour dans l'espace client à l'endroit prévu à cet effet pour que son retour soit enregistré, validé et recevable. Nous devons avoir reçu le retour de la ou des pièce(s) dans un délai de quatorze jours francs à compter de la date de réception de sa commande pour que le retour soit recevable. Les frais d’envoi et de retour seront à la charge du client. Les produits, accompagnés de la copie de la facture d'achat, devront être retournés par colis remis contre signature, pour éviter tout conflit en cas de perte ou de colis endommagé, dans un parfait état et dans leur emballage d'origine (comprenant accessoires et notice d'utilisation) à l'adresse suivante : SARL PRO VSP- ZAE Mas de Garric, 2 rue de l’industrie, 34140 Mèze, France. Le retour ou l’échange se fait aux risques du client. Si l'article n'est pas retourné par le client dans un délai de quatorze (14) jours, le retour est considéré comme annulé et le client doit conserver le produit. Toute commande faite par un professionnel est donc ferme et définitive. Le délai de 14 jours franc débute à la date de livraison du colis pour une livraison à domicile ou à la date de disponibilité au point relais pour une livraison en point relais. En cas de retour d'une pièce d'une commande pour laquelle le client a bénéficié d'une promotion partielle ou intégrale des frais de port, le montant du remboursement sera imputé de la remise éventuelle. A défaut de respect par le client des présentes conditions, notamment des conditions de retour ou d’échange, PRO VSP ne pourra procéder au remboursement des produits concernés.
